  • The AOWC is held once each four years. Its purpose, described here, is to advance oat improvement and culture in North America and the World. Our theme this year was "Oat Action Together: a Strategy for Public/Private Cooperation".
  • The conference was held in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, a rich and diverse urban centre surrounded by rivers, lakes, woodland hills, and a fertile agricultural valley. The conference venue was the Ottawa Marriott Hotel, a short walk from Canada’s Parliament Buildings, museums, shops, and restaurants. For more information, see the Ottawa Tourism site.
